Dr. Kickertz went to Purdue University for her bachelor’s degree, and was accepted into dental school after only 3 years of undergraduate education. She received her DDS from Indiana University and practiced general dentistry for 4 years before specializing in endodontics. She went on to study at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, one of the most prestigious endodontics programs in the country. She completed her M.S. and certificate in endodontics in 2018, and has served her patients as a specialist since.
Dr. Kickertz is a board-certified endodontist, a qualification that requires extensive continued education and a portfolio of successful treatment of patients. She is proud to be one of the few female, board-certified endodontists in Charlotte, and is committed to high-quality work and evidence-based endodontic care.
Dr. Kickertz was a competitive figure skater when she was young, and in her free time, she volunteers as an official judge for US Figure Skating. She also loves to travel overseas, hike, cook, and spend time with her family.
Meet the dedicated professionals here to brighten your day.
I have been an endodontic assistant for over 10 years and truly love what I do. Helping people feel better, easing their fears, and being part of bringing their smiles back is incredibly rewarding to me. One of my favorite parts of my job is hearing patients say, “That was so easy!” when they leave — knowing I helped make their experience comfortable and positive means everything. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my loving fiancé, my two stepdaughters who I absolutely adore, and our four dogs who keep life fun and busy. In my free time, you can usually find me curled up with a good book or enjoying the outdoors. I’m grateful to be part of a team that helps patients feel cared for and confident in their smiles every day.

I started my journey in Dental Assisting in 2024 and have been growing in the field ever since. I’ve been living in Charlotte since 2007 and love calling it home. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, traveling for good food, and capturing moments through photography. I love collecting and saving recipes (even though I don’t always make them… yet!). My favorite food is pho, and I also enjoy doing nails on the side.

Originally from New York, Alissa brings a vibrant energy and a wealth of knowledge to our clinical team. When she isn’t assisting Dr. Kickertz, you can likely find her immersed in nature—whether she’s gardening, snorkeling, or relaxing at the beach. A true animal lover, Alissa shares her home with three dogs and two cats, and she always has an endless supply of fun animal facts to share with our patients. She loves exploring the outdoors with her boyfriend, Drew, and bringing that same sense of discovery and care to everyone she meets at the practice.

Callie is often the first friendly face you’ll see at our practice, bringing a global perspective and impressive communication skills to our front desk. With a B.S. in International Relations, Callie lived in Japan and studied abroad in Korea; she is also fluent in Japanese. Her passion for culture extends into her personal life, where she loves to travel, read, and document her journey through journaling. Callie’s diverse background and dedication to service ensure that every patient feels welcomed and understood from the moment they walk through our doors.

Originally from Russia and raised in Minnesota, Dan oversees the daily operations of our office with a focus on community and wellness. Outside of the practice, Dan is a fitness enthusiast who loves training others and is currently honing his skills in the boxing ring. He is a passionate cook and traveler, but his favorite way to spend time is with his family—including his wife, Dr. Kickertz, and their dog, Yuri. Dan’s commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle reflects the core values of our practice: helping our patients and team live their best, healthiest lives.

We’ve worked hard to create an environment that is warm and welcoming.
